Starting at 5 p.m., enjoy the outdoor ice-skating rink, Ferris wheel rides, and delicious treats from food trucks. The excitement peaks at 6:30 p.m. with Santa’s arrival parade and the grand illumination of downtown lights. The evening culminates in a breathtaking fireworks and drone show at 7 p.m., dazzling spectators with choreographed light artistry against the night sky. Santa and Mrs. Claus also greet visitors at the Heritage Center during the event, making it a true community celebration.

2. Lights at Historic Clifton Mill

Just a short drive from Springfield, the Historic Clifton Mill shines bright with an iconic light display. Known for its millions of twinkling lights reflecting off the flowing millrace, this Ohio tradition enchants visitors with hand-painted scenes, animated figures, and festive holiday charm. 5. SantaCon

Santa Con 2025 in Springfield, Ohio, will take place on Saturday, December 13th, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Mother Stewart’s Brewing Company. Bringing friends and strangers together to celebrate the nostalgia and fellowship of the Holiday Season, and support our local United Way! Live Music, Costume Contest (Best Santa and Best Holiday Outfit), Holiday Hot Bar, and so much more! This festive event is part of Springfield’s holiday traditions and will include activities like decorating trees, which will be donated to families in need through The Salvation Army of Clark County.
